These Aston Martin Vantage engines are hand built in England as per the above plaque. Engine layout and detail is very high.
Racing Sports Concepts exhaust adds deeper note and another few kw’s on top. Certainly a nice upgrade to this Aston Martin.
The 4.7L V8 is an improvement over the older and lower capacity V8. The car is very responsive and produces plenty of torque in the mid range.
Replacing clutch on Aston Martin Vantage is not an easy task. A long torque tube requires precise and coordinated dismantling. On close inspection the pressure plate was badly worn and burned. New replacement part was sourced and installed.
the clutch plate friction material did not escape abuse on this powerful Vantage.
