The below Audi R8 V10 was in our workshop to have a Minor scheduled service.
The service was done first according to the Audi log book schedule and current km on the vehicle. This included replacing the oil along with filters and other liquids and lubricants as needed.
This being a low km Audi R8 and its first non dealer service, we noted all required service items for the record. Things like brake pad % left and tyre condition have been checked and noted. The barely 15,000 km’s on the clock, this R8 passed with flying colours.

One of the bigger jobs we looked at last month was this Audi R8 that had a misfire and needed to get a new clutch kit installed.
When we scanned the vehicle engine control there was a misfire error relating to the fuel injectors. Once these were removed we found that 2 of them were not ok. We replaced 4 new injectors and installed the 4 injectors that tested ok back into the vehicle. The error codes were cleared and a test drive done.
During the test drive we found that the engine still misfired when hot and errors appeared relating to the bank that had the serviced injectors installed. We then replaced these injectors and did an overnight road test which was all ok.
We also spent time installing a clutch kit including the pressure plate, flywheel, bolts and spigot bearing which took some time to do.
One of our returning customers which we previously installed a turbo for his Audi R8 came in for a minor scheduled service and to look at some oil leaks.
The service was completed first which included replacing the oil and oil filter according to the log book schedule. The brake fluid was then topped up and the oil leak inspected. Once we checked over the vehicle we found the oil leaks were coming from the turbo oil feed return line. Using our tools we tensioned the feed line as it had worked itself loose. The under side of the engine was degreased and the R8 test driven which was all ok.
