Alfa Romeo 156 Suspension Inspection

An Alfa Romeo 156 customer had come into our shop to get the front suspension inspected as it was not working according to specifications. We did a check over to report on our findings which also involved test drives.

The vehicle needed the O/S/F and N/S/F lower control arms with the caster rod and bush. We installed these components after notifying the customer of the results from our check over.

Alfa-Romeo-156-Wheels-Bumper-RamSpeed-1Other repairs that needed to be completed were on the rear drivers side window switch and to complete diagnostics on the front main switch cluster on the drivers side. After this the rear switch was repaired but the front would require a new switch or cluster.

Peugeot 307 Checking a Noise

There was a Peugeot 307 in our workshop last week to check a noise. We test drove the vehicle with the customer to verify the knocking was coming from the suspension when driving.

Mercedes Benz GL320 Suspension Sagging

Below you can see the Mercedes Benz GL320 we worked on which had the suspension sagging.

Mercedes-Benz-GL320-Wheels-Lights-Bumper-RamSpeed-1 Mercedes-Benz-GL320-Brakes-RamSpeed-2The vehicle arrived to us with the left side suspension sagging and the front worse than the rear. We raised the vehicle on the hoist to inspect and found the left air shock absorber was split and requires a replacement. Inspecting the rear air shock visually looks ok, but we were unable to carry out any testing with our tester due to the front left failure. The front left air shock would need to be replaced in order for further testing to be carried out.

Citroen C5 Suspension Diagnostics

Below is a Citroen C5 which was brought into our workshop to diagnose the suspension which was sagging in the front and rear.

We scanned the suspension control and found a present error regarding the rear suspension lelve height sensor. The vehicle was then raised on the hoise to inspect the sensor which we found was plugged in and connected. We then removed the plug connection and tested the power which was all ok. From this we replaced the sensor as required and carried out fault clearance and system calibration.

BMW X5 Supersprint Exhaust and Power Module

Another tuning job was done on a BMW X5 recently which also had the exhaust changed.

We installed a Supersprint exhaust system with rectangle tips as seen in the below images. The customer also purchased a Hartge power module which was installed while the vehicle was here for the exhaust. Finally we fitted a lowering module and did a wheel alignment.
